 AndroQueen is a Boston based femme punk group that draws influence from indie, alt rock, dream pop and shoegaze. The band plays original punk songs as well as alt rock covers. With driving metal inspired drums, experimental guitars and soaring vocals AndroQueen is bringing the Riot Grrl movement into the 21st century. The band’s original songs focus on gender identity, inequality and punk culture. Combining poetic lyrics with a moving rock beat, AndroQueen's originals inspire, inform and uplift, all while driving the audience members to the dance floor. The band has played in the lively Boston house show scene including bars, fundraisers, and music venues such as The Dorchester Art Project and Pasta Planet.
